Beautifully filmed in London Weekend studios, here is a great compilation of Wartime hits and swing standards. It features the reformed Big Band, with their own special instrumental arrangements. It also includes superb singer Sheila Southern, the dynamic Stutz Bear Cats and the band’s own Squad Cats. The sound quality is also excellent. The songs have been featured on main terrestrial TV channels, as individual musical items. With leader Harry Bence, here is a swinging selection from top-flight jazz players. There is a special feature on Roy Edwards, former singer and leader of the band.
